A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
« Result #2 on Dec 21, 2009, 11:40am »

Here's wishing all the best to you and your families for the festive season.

And here's hoping the New Year can bring further success and perhaps a date for the League Cup Final, providing off course that Santa brings Lithgae a repair kit for Herdy and Coyne.... ;)

 fixture backlog
« Result #3 on Dec 20, 2009, 9:38am »

there is going to be a horrendous fixture backlog coming,i just hope camelon have a big enough squad to cope, what with injuries suspension work commitments and so forth. i have always said there are to many meaningless cup competitions in the junior game, better having league games every week, with perhaps 2 cup comps, still maybe that would be to simple for the blazers.

Think recent events with lack of games just reinforces my opinion that UK football should seriously look at playing during summer rather than when weather is awful - doesnt encourage good football. If nothing else not sure why Juniors dont look at it.

Having said that i thought we played well yesterday and could have one by more. Defence was solid, midfield worked hard and we gave them trouble up front.

Went for Dickie as my MoM - worked hard and plated some great passes but could have picked 3 or 4 really.

At last, a match to watch on a saturday. a great hard faught three points won. The back four were solid and only allowed a few half chances for Whitburn i thought Andy Dick had a good game and up front big Jordyn looked sharp and was a threat all game. but my man of the match was Belly he was back to his best and never lost a tackle all match.

Scott Murphy. He never missed any penalties when he was at Camelon, I think he felt sorry for you today :)

I unfortunately couldn't make the game and that was an excellent win. I'll be their next Saturday against Sauchie if we're on.
