I have mixed views on the falkirk herald report this week as it totally slaughtered the match officials. I hope this dose not turn them against us in the future. Anybody at the game would agree that the match would have been cancelled at any other level of football. I think to try and aviod a pile up of fixtures swayed the decision, although had a serious injury occured i.e. Danny Smith then the matter might have been different. Carmuirs park has been taking a pounding lately and even when it was due a rest there is a cup final on it.It is an amazingly good turf we have and I am sure it will be o.k. after this spell. We played well and won well on saturday and I hope this is an omen for the future.

Although the playing surface is good at Carmuirs, it wont stay that way long if it continues to be played on in that condition. From that perspective I totally agree with Ian white. I hope it is in better condition this week or I fear for the Kinnoull game.

The game should have been postponed o.k. and I can only hope that the excellent turf on the pitch is not destroyed after all this though I still think it is wrong to publicly slaughter people in the press as it may come back to haunt us.
