Disappointed we were knocked out of the scottish cup by a mediocre/poor Linlithgow outfit, too much time on the ball in the first 15 mins and they are 2 up but then we sneaked back into it and sadly we didn't create enough chances to get fully back into the game despite Calum Scott scoring which was easily the best goal in the tie. Alan Benton has been easily the best player the last few weeks since returning from injury and he showed it again today. Back to league business next week against Musselburgh where points are much needed.

I went for Benton too.
Lochees the big one as far as getting points. Musselburgh are in the semi final of the scottish and are up the league it will be difficult and I wouldn't be too hard as i think a lot of us were when we lost about 6 games in a row 5 out of the 6 before xmas were against the top teams the other being Hill O'beath . Big games for me i feel we need to win are lochee and carnoustie away and armadale and Fauldhouse at home win those and we will be safe and if we get any points in the other 6 games that will be good

I didn't think there was much between both teams. Early on we sat far too deep and let Linlithgow pass the ball about at will but when we got it back to 2-1 before I thought we played well enough in the second half to earn at least a draw. Again our main problem is not converting enough of our chances and we badly need a good centre forward. I've went for Marty as my mom.

I'm going to go for Alan Benton. He has been the difference in the defence since returning from injury. I thought Dean was maybe a bit unlucky with the first Linlithgow goal. Calum took his goal well. I kept waiting on the equaliser coming as we did put their defence under pressure during the second half. If we have a squad of 15, then we will struggle if players are out injured. Back to the Superleague for the next couple of games and a chance to get some more points to climb up the table.
