What did everyone else think of the performance?
I felt we didn't play to the best we can yesterday. We knew we were through. I thought he would have put "Giggsy" on or tried a few different things from the start.
Hunter coming on at centre half back to an old position for him. Someone near me said thats his best position I disagree I liked him bombing forward from left back, OK it left us open sometimes at the back but we would need to be better at covering. I like Ballantyne at left back however.
I still think we need another striker someone who can ruffle a few feathers.
What does everyone else think?

Great somewhere to moan now! ;D
Graeme Mclaren was very uncomfortable when put to left back. We have been wondering what value Kenny has to the team, time and time again he is on the pitch doing nothing - ok he has the occasional good touch or pass (even contributiong to a goal on Sat). Better players on the bench and we can't work out why!
Time and time again we are left wondering where the midfield are, Martin Mooney played well, constantly chasing every ball.
We need to play better to challnge the top teams.

Yes I agree we need to play better. On Kenny McLellan people criticise him for doing the only thing he could do. Hunter never got criticised for doing not very much. You could argue some weeks why does he get a game. I saw McLaren not being happy at being put to Left back. I prefer him on the Wing or up front to be honest.
I think we've got a good variety for all positions but I again will say we need another striker. Midfields atrocious. Paul Miller is another one alright he did ok yesterday, but in games he can do nothing but float about and misplace lots of passes.

I think that Jim and Gogz have done a brilliant job. The team have never been fitter and the will to win and willingness to work for each other is amazing. We may not win every game but there wont be a team who play us this year coming of the park without knowing they have been in a real game.

I feel that we did not play our best on Saturday, I agree that both Jim and Gog's have done a great job and that it is early in the season. Graham McLaren looked very disappointed to be brought back to defence, he had run his heart out and he perhaps thought that he should have been allowed to finish game up front as chances had been made by and with him. However, Jim is the manager and he must have seen fit to make the changes he made. It was nice to see Brian Bell back out on the field it was like he had never been away. I also think that Hunter should be more utilised up front to deliver to Thomson and McLaren. When bursting forward or at set pieces. He should provide the height that we lack up front. What our current strikers have is tremendous pace, but sometimes they lose out to bigger defences due to lack of physical stature, but no one can deny they fight hard for possession. At the end of the day personnel decisions are made by the manager and his assistant and the players and fans alike, will need to respect the decisions made by the management. That is why they are there.
