Saturdays game is so vital as it can take us to within three points of the leaders. If we can maintain our current form I think that we can win it,that said we will have to apply ourselves 100% to the job in hand. You could see on saturday that we are capable of creating chances and this has to be a major plus,It will be a difficult match as Bathgate will be hurting and looking to turn things around.Lets hope that things go our way and keep our proud record this season intact.
C'Mon the Mariners you know you can do this.

I went upto this game today and felt we should have won the game. The Referee gave a soft free kick from which they converted their 2nd goal.
Cringean got a bit wound up after teh second goal and went right in on Graeme Love. He was substituted at half time before he got sent off and Camelon went with 3 up front and Martin Mooney gave us hope at the start of the 2nd half.
2-1 defeat that should have been a win.

Dissapointing result for us today as we could have won this match.I felt that the ref was far too lenient as time and time again they would pull down any player who passed them. They certainly niggled away at Stuart Cringean, But when all is said and done the guys are used to it and should have won. Our centre midfield altough are competent players play very similar holding roles,I liked the system we had where one of them would press on and assist the forwards,This missing link is causing a problem as we have to opt for the long ball all to often, when we are at our best we play through middle whether wide or central and play the forwards in.

i liked when we switched to 4-3-3 formation. Paul Millers wasted out in the left, i know Ive criticised him before, but on his game in the middle of the park he is an excellent player.

Paul gives 100% wherever he plays it is easy to see he is best suited to the middle and looks like he enjoys playing there. However I think we have an excellent squad and still have a lot to come from them because once they hit it (i.e.cruised to a 4 - 0 against the same Bathgate) I feel that they can match the best of them.
