I hope that the game is on, This is a great opportunity to really boost our chances.I hope we get a a wee change of luck becuase a fair number of chances in recent games could quite as easily been goals and I am a great believer in the fact that goals create goals. But you don't get nothing for hard lines and I am sure we will stay committed to the cause whatever happens. This could bring the club the recognition that I feel it deserves for the hard work and commitment that is required to run a team of Camelons stature.

I understand what you are saying Alan but I like to keep things positive and you never know this could be our year.

Can I wish our team and management all the best for the tie. Don't understand the Glory Hunters comment either , any one who puts anything on this forum is keen and loyal to our club, sometimes it takes a few good results to get local interest. If people come to our ground and see a firecracker of a game like last weeks I am sure they would be here more often than not. Hope we get a dry night and the game is able to be played.. Let's do this Camelon, we are all behind you...

Give me a break Del boy. Every team has it. People only turn up for the big matches. Scottish Cup ties, Semi Finals and Finals. If these people truelly supported Camelon they would be there every week.

Well, if that is the case, Alan, let's make sure that after next week they have something to draw them to see our team play...
Who knows they may come back week after week like we all do, then something is gained...

I really wish they all wood del for the sake of the club. Realistically you'll keep 5 or 10. Just because a team isn't winning can stop people coming back.
I'm a diehard I have been since I was 9 years old and I don't even come from Camelon. So I've been going to Camelon games for 11 years. Whether they won lost or draw I was there every home game. Missed a few games. But I even go to the friendlies. I've started going to some of the away games as well.

We have a loyal core of fans, and we would like that to improve, our team this season have done well to date, and it should have brought some more spectators to Carmuirs Park. Face facts, £4 for entry, we know all the players personally, you don't get that type of entertainment at senior levels of football. I have followed Camelon for a very long time and regardless of how they are doing. They are club I support.
Everyones perception of Junior football is off old has beens playing out their last days of their career, we know this is not the case, we have a reasonably young squad, all of our players are talented and I cannot understand why more of our players did not break into senior football.
Junior football is very well supported and well loved level of football, if only more of the local boys would go and watch the juniors on a Saturday rather than travelling to senior clubs and spending £18-25 to watch games which are not as exciting as our normal junior games..
We are currently playing in the super league, which is a close faught league and is exciting to watch, our players have full time careers and play for the Jersey not the bucks..
Let's get some more supporters to see Junior football...

Well I totally agree and thats one of the reasons why I go is the players fight for the Jersey, they play because they want to be there not because they are getting mega bucks.
We do need more people to come along. But they need to be there as often as possible and not when we are winning. If Camelon were to go on the worst run and go down two seasons in a row and play in the South Division and would struggle I would still be there.

I don't think we need to worry about that happening, but good to know support is there for the lads...
All like minded supporters should be doing their best to spread the word... and get new support on the terraces...
Cheers,

Well I took a friend to the Fife and Lothians Cup Final and seemed impressed with the standard of football.
Another guy I know came to a few games, he generally goes to Falkirk, Shire or Camelon. He enjoys the Junior games as well.

With the draw for the next round only a few hours away can I say good luck for your game vs Tayport and I hope the draw is good to you and the Rose. Let's hope we aren't drawn against each other again.
